Wake Up Call!!!
Ask yourself - What Am I doing?
Probably you work as a exeuctive in a industry or you may be a self employed professional. Just ask your self the question what am i doing?
In reality what you are doing is not more than participating in the daily execution of the organisation of the world.
Cities turn into symmetries and symmetries turn to cities. Cultures develop. Man tries to organise the world. The more organised the world is the more is the need to work to keep it organised. For example Banking and Insurance sectors were not there 200 years ago. If you are a Bank Manager just imagine what you would have done if you were living 200 years ago.
In fact man has to do and man has to be. These are two different things. Your doing has nothing to do with your being. Your being (your consciuosness) does not requrie action on your part to grow. It just requires you to be there. Look at the grass, it grows automatically. Look at your beard it grows automatically.
People say we are living in a very advanced age. The technology available today was not available to man in the past. Well these kind of statements become questionable in view of latest archeological findings. However, even if we believe we are living in the most advanced of ages evolution has witnessed, how are we really using them. The men and women centries ago used to live in peace. They used to explore more of thier consciouness. They were in fact more conscious as they had more time to be with themselves. They were more happy. If technology is rightly used we can be more happy. But if technology starts using us and eating away our time there is no benefit from it. The benefit appears on the surface as the layers of the sea. When you go deep down you'll realize perhaps the modern man is far more miserable with the latest technology than was the ancient man without it.
So realise that:
1. whatsoever you do is nothing more than a part of the execution of the world
2. your doing has nothing to do with your being
3. technology helps you only to do the things better
4. happiness comes from your being not doing (in fact you live in direct proportion of your being, the more you are conscious, the more you are alive)
If you realize all this, then why are you tense with things which have anything to do with your job. They are all petty. Make your understanding of what you are doing grow and the problems you face would appear just like pebbles or like snakes in the game of ladders and snakes.
Love.
